TOPIC: What Washington is doing to enforce the 10th Amendment
Matt Shea has served his country in the United States Army with two combat tours overseas, including eight months in Bosnia as a platoon leader, and eleven months in Baghdad, Iraq, as a company commander. Matt is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and current member of the American Legion. He is now a constitutional legislator in the State of Washington, and was named “Rookie Legislator of the Year” (2009).
Rep. Matt Shea is a leader in States Rights and the 10th Amendment to the Constitution which states that “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” The federal government has only 17 powers under the US Constitution.
